Embracing Generative AI is crucial in today's dynamic environment. By harnessing this technology, organisations can optimise workflows, reduce operational timelines, and improve workplace performance. This technological advancement is not merely limited to specialised areas or specific industries but holds the promise to significantly improve learning and performance across many areas in all workplaces.
The course aims to empower professionals with know-hows of learning interventions such as in-house training sessions, learning through coaching and mentoring, and self-driven continuous learning, armed with practical knowledge and skills in utilising Large Language Models (LLMs) and various Generative AI Image Creation tools to benefit fellow employees within an organisation. By using these technologies, participants can enhance the quality of their work, reduce the time required to complete tasks, and foster innovation, leading to more effective solutions and streamlined processes. They will also gain invaluable insights and impart such knowledge to fellow employees of the organisation the most effective and efficient ways of integrating Generative AI into their daily operations.
The course is meticulously designed to be a catalyst, propelling professionals towards a future where they harness the full potential of Generative A to drive workplace efficiency and innovation. The practical sessions in this course, simulating a workplace setting will include:
- Collaborative sessions simulating real-world scenarios where teams co-create solutions using Generative AI.

Advisory and Updates: From 1 October 2023, Singaporean Citizens / Permanent Residents learners who are attending SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)'s funded courses must take their attendance digitally via the Singpass App for attendance-taking for both physical classroom and synchronous e-learning courses.
Mandatory e-Attendance via Singpass App from 1 October 2023
Singaporean Citizens/Permanent Residents are required to set up your Singpass account and download the Singpass App prior to course commencement. Learners will have to submit a reschedule request, with an applicable fee, if they are unable to do so.
Please be present in class (physical and online) 15 minutes before the scheduled lesson time on the actual day and have the following ready:
- Smart device (e.g., smartphone or iPad) with a functioning camera,
- Singpass mobile app installed on the smart device,
- Login credentials for the Singpass App.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the session, the learners will be able to:
- Impart internally to employees of the workplace knowledge and the know-hows of the strengths, constraints, and diverse applications of Large Language Models and Generative AI Image Creation tools in a myriad of workplace scenarios.
- Share effectively with employees of the workplace the benefits of using Large Language Models such as ChatGPT and Bard in a variety of tasks and contexts, exploring their functionalities and significant potential in idea generation and data analysis in diverse projects and initiatives to improve productivity.
- Upskill fellow employees at the workplace with using various Generative AI Image Creation tools and discover their ability to create captivating visuals that could be used for reports, presentations, courseware materials, and more.
- Discover, through peeragogy within the workplace, strategies to integrate Generative AI into organisational operations, and discover ways to adapt these technologies across various workplace contexts and requirements.
- Conduct sessions within the workplace to employees within the organisation about the ethical nuances of utilising Generative AI, ensuring responsible usage while maintaining the trustworthiness and accuracy of generated contents.

Programme Fee
To ensure course fees remain affordable, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will provide 70% subsidy for Singapore Citizens (SC) and Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) for approved SkillsFuture courses. This will be applicable to both self-sponsored and company-sponsored applicants. Self-sponsored applicants can offset the remaining course fees using their SkillsFuture Credit. Eligible applicants can further benefit from other SSG subsidies of up to 90% such as the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy. Applicants who are eligible need only pay the difference between the full fees (set by the Institute) and the government funding from SSG.
Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above are eligible for SkillsFuture Credit which can be used to offset the selected programmes' fees for self-sponsored registrations only. Successful applicants who are Singapore Citizens aged 40 years old and above will be eligible for SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES) of up to 90% of course fees. Please note the submission period for your SFC claim via MySkillsFuture needs to be within 60 days before the course start date (date inclusive). If your course start date is more than 60 days from the date of SFC application, the SSG-SFC portal would reject your application. In this case, you would need to pay the full course fees at the end of your course application.

The assessment of the course is based on group work, which requires the class to form small group discussions and presentations to reflect on the barriers they might encounter for effective implementation of workplace learning in their current or previous organisation and the potential mitigations. A Certificate of Completion will be conferred upon meeting at least 75% attendance and participation in the group discussion and presentation.
